Once your pet portrait is finished I will e-mail you a digital photo. This is when you take a good
look at your finished portrait. If you are happy with the portrait you'll need to reply to the e-mail
that contained your portrait's image. Please do not compose a completely new e-mail message. In
your reply please include a few sentences indicating your acceptance of your final portrait. If
changes are needed this is the time to let me know. I will make the requested changes and send
you another e-mail with a new photo of the corrected painting. Again, you will need to reply to that
e-mail and indicate if you are or are not satisfied. Remember, if you are satisfied please include in
your reply one or two sentences stating you accept the corrected portrait. If things still need a bit
of adjusting just let me know and I'll do it. We will continue in this manner until you indicate, in
your reply, that you're happy with your portrait.
This approval process is to make sure you're completely satisfied with your pet portrait. Once the
painting has been accepted you will receive an invoice requesting final payment, any shipping,
handling, and insurance charges will be calculated and added to your final invoice. Once your
payment has been received I will ship your painting as quickly as possible. Your painting may need
more time to dry depending on the pigments used when painting. I may need to wait as long as a
week before I can place any protective padding around and on your portrait for shipping. I will do
everything possible to get your painting to you quickly and in perfect condition. It is my goal to
produce the painting you want, your complete satisfaction is my goal. If at final approval, before
anything has been shipped, the painting isn't to your liking and you feel there is no way to fix the
problem, I will keep the painting and you wont' be responsible for the final balance owed. If this is
the case we can discuss possibly trying again. I will give you credit for your original deposit and
attempt another portrait. This option is available to you only once.
When shipping your painting you will have the option of purchasing shipping insurance. If you elect
not to purchase insurance and your painting is damaged we can discuss possibly repairing the
painting for a nominal fee which will be discussed if and when necessary. Every effort will be made
to package your painting as securely as possible but there are just some circumstances one cannot
protect against. If your painting arrives damaged it will be up to you to file a claim with your local
USPS office. Before any options to repair the painting can be discussed you will need to send me a
few photos. I will need a photo of the painting in its original packaging, as you received it showing
any outer packaging damage (if any). Plus photos of the painting in its box, a photo showing the
whole portrait, and a close-up clearly showing any damaged portions of the painting. If there is
more than one place on the painting damaged I will need a close up of those areas too. I will review
the photos and then contact you with options on how to proceed.
